As founders and lifelong friends, we have been personally impacted by loved ones who lost their lives due to battles with mental health.

Our belief in the healing power of the dog-human bond was the catalyst for what has become Dog Dads Supply Co., a chance to create something with the potential to build community and connection, and to support programs that help restore a sense of purpose for those who need it most.

From the beginning our goal was to find and partner with organizations that had a direct impact on mental health through the support of service animals. Our search led us to discover the awesome work being done by Operation Freedom Paws. They don’t just train dogs to help humans, they first rescue shelter dogs in need of a second chance and co-train them with veterans, first responders, and others suffering from complex trauma, disability & illness. When a shelter dog becomes a service dog, two lives change forever.
